At Kava Haus, we believe great food starts from the ground up. That's why nearly everything we serve is made from scratch right here in our kitchen. From our house-made breads and pizza doughs to our signature sauces, pastries, and specialty recipes, every item begins with quality ingredients and hands-on preparation.
All of our recipes we use today were created and refined by our owner and management team over years of testing, baking, and perfecting each detail. While shortcuts are common in today's food industry, we're proud to take the extra time to craft food the way it was meant to be made, fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Our morning pastries are made from scratch using recipes developed and perfected in-haus. From our signature scones to our soft, gooey cinnamon rolls, each batch is mixed, baked, and finished fresh to deliver homemade flavor in every bite. We believe great pastries can't be rushed, which is why we take the time to make them the old-fashioned way, by hand and from quality ingredients.
Every pizza and calzone starts with dough made fresh in our kitchen. We prepare our dough from scratch every morning. Whether it's one of our deep-dish pizzas loaded with toppings or a calzone baked to golden perfection, every order is built on a foundation of fresh dough and haus-crafted recipes that set Kava Haus apart.
Fresh bread is at the heart of many of our menu favorites. Our haus-made white bread is baked from scratch and used for everything from hearty toast to our grilled cheese sandwiches, while our fresh piadina bread provides the perfect base for our sammies. Unlike pre-made breads shipped from a distributor, our breads are prepared in-house, giving every meal the unmistakable taste and texture of something truly homemade.
Haus-Made Syrups
Many of the flavors that make our specialty drinks unique begin right here in our kitchen. We create a variety of our own syrups from scratch, including seasonal favorites like our Banana Bread Syrup and our customer-favorite Vanilla Bean Syrup. By crafting these syrups ourselves, we're able to use quality ingredients and develop flavors you won't find anywhere else. Our Vanilla Bean Syrup has become so popular that we bottle it for guests to enjoy at home, bringing a little taste of Kava Haus to every cup.
